What happens if my internet connection fails?
If your network connection fails, your phones will stop working along with your computers until the network is brought back up.
This includes Emergency calls. Other means of calling 911 should remain available, such as cell phones or a landline, in case there is a network outage and an emergency. Please see our 911 advisory for more information on how emergency calling with voice over IP differs from traditional landlines.
Virtual Office is a Voice over IP (VoIP) product. This means the phones run over your network and internet connection along with your other computers.
