USFAMILY.NET SPAM PREVENTION
In an attempt to further prevent the traffic of SPAM and viruses, USFamily.Net will be
making a change in our e-mail to begin blocking outbound port 25. This change will affect
a very small amount of USFamily.Net customers.This change will
NOT have any effect on your service if your e-mail address is provided by USFamily.Net OR
if your e-mail address is provided by another company and you access your e-mail via a web
page (e.g. Hotmail or Yahoo Mail). If this describes your e-mail address, you will not
notice any changes, nor do you need to take any action.
You will be affected by this change only if:
- Your e-mail address is provided by another company and you use that e-mail address with
a program on your computer such as Outlook Express, Outlook or Netscape Mail.

AND

- Your email program is NOT already configured to send via USFamily.Net's mail servers.
That is, you only need to be concerned if your outgoing mail (SMTP server) is set to
something other than "mail.usfamily.net".

If you are one of the few customers using e-mail this way, please for directions on the changes that need to be made in your e-mail
program so that you may continue SENDING e-mail uninterrupted. If your e-mail program is
not listed, or if you need assistance, please call our FREE technical support line at
